Friends of India a Registered student organization at the University of Arkansas has been striving continuously to cater to the needs of incoming international students over the years. FOI was established in the year 1967 by Dr. Raj V. Kilambi and 7 other professors. An idea to start an organization came up, to help the upcoming new students and families to make them feel at home by conducting festivals, events and get together parties. Our goal is to facilitate the transition of students into the US academic community and acclimatize them to the clime and the general foreign setting of the University. The unwavering support and enthusiasm of Faculties, Families in North West Arkansas and students has made the organization successful in its endeavors. We believe continuous support at various levels will offer a positive experience in the lives of our students.
