Volunteering

We gathered perennial native plant seeds in the Woolsey Wet Prairie.  We worked with the Watershed Conservation Resource Center on November 6, 2016 in Fayetteville, AR.

Environmental Impact

The seeds we collected are native to the area and are stored to use for conservation projects such as stream bank restorations and riparian enhancement.  Riparian enhancement refers to the enhancement of the zone where the land and river meet.  The word riparian is derived from the Latin word ripa which means river bank.
