Our History

In the Spring semester of 2013, a group of ten Panamanians thought that it would be a good idea to create a Panamanian registered organization in order to share with the rest of the University of Arkansas our country’s traditions and customs. Therefore, in the Fall semester of 2013, the Panamanian Student Organization was registered as an RSO. Since then, we have been sharing our culture throughout the Northwest Arkansas region.

Currently, our organization counts with more than 75 active members, which is mainly integrated by Panamanians. It is our goal to make sure people in the Northwest Arkansas region to know at least one fact about our country or culture. Presently, we have multiple active groups such as the dancing and soccer groups.
