Greetings, everyone!

As you all know, MCAT Masters had its first general meeting today. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it, and we hope it was informative!

However, some of you were unable to make it, but no worries! The purpose of this email is to give a summary over what happened at today’s meeting, as well as provide a few bits of other helpful information.

Today’s meeting covered the format of tutoring for the semester. There will be sessions over each of theeight subjects (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, psychology, sociology, & critical reading/thinking) generally once every month. Schedules were passed out today, which can be found in PDF form in the attachments. Sessions are categorized by subject on this schedule sheet with their respective dates and times for the entire semester.

The tutoring events listed are group sessions. However, if you need additional help, you may always consult with and ask your tutor for individual tutoring sessions in order to get more help!

Tutoring locations all be held in SCEN 604, except for the very first tutoring session on September 6th. We will send you an email regarding this session’s location as soon as we book it.

And now, some helpful bits of info! The MCAT Masters website is a very helpful tool for keeping up with tutoring dates, in case you lose the schedule, or if changes are made. The homepage has a calendar of every tutoring event. If you’re interested in tutoring in only a certain area, you can pick the specific subject and view that particular subject’s sessions here. Finally, all our emails sent out to the listserv as well as additional announcements can also be found on the website by clicking here.

Keep in mind that all the information regarding tutoring (dates, times, location) is tentative and subject to change. We will send out emails if any changes are made, as well as update the information on the website.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to email us! We hope you all have an excellent semester, and we look forward to seeing you at the tutoring sessions! Until next time, good luck on your studies!

Thank you!
