FSUA’s first general meeting was held on Friday, August 26th from 4 to 5 pm. The meeting was special because not only both FSUA advisors, Gloria Passmore and DeDe Long, attended but also Dr. Curt Rom who spared his time to come to the meeting and gave feedback on the draft of our plan for special event during the International Education Week on November. Almost all current Fulbrighters came at the meeting and gave contribution to the draft. We are committed to celebrate the IEW which is relevant to the legacy of Senator J. William Fulbright’s vision “Peace through Education.” The concept of our program was not fixed yet and the follow-up meeting would be held in the week after. The session was ended with group photo at the fountain in front of the Arkansas Union building.
